What Happened to Hands-On Labs?

Updated on

Looking for Hands-On Labs? Don’t worry — you’re in the right place!

Hands-On Labs is now Science Interactive.

For the past 20 years, the Hands-On Labs team has been the leading provider of distance science education, completely dedicated to helping professors teach laboratory science online without losing the tactile lab experience. While our mission to bridge the learning gap for remote science students has not changed, the Science Interactive brand will allow us to better achieve those goals in a world that is increasingly reliant on distance learning.

Science Interactive is now the face of the world’s largest provider of distance learning lab science curriculum and kits.

Here’s what this means for you:

  • Continued innovation: As the original provider of distance lab science courses, innovation is in our blood. We will continue our tradition of creating cutting-edge lab courses as we help you teach the scientists of tomorrow—no matter where they are today.
  • New website: We’ve retired our Hands-On Labs website and moved everything to this new domain: ScienceInteractive.com. Our team of UX experts designed it with the goal of providing a better experience for those looking to explore our curriculum and resources.
  • New look for Cloud: By Spring semester, the HOL Cloud will also get a facelift and a name change. Along with updated colors and branding, it will be called the Science Interactive Cloud. Don’t worry, this won’t affect your existing enrollment links, settings, content, or user experience.
  • Same excellent courses: This rebranding effort will not alter your relationship with us. You can expect the same authentic remote learning experience and high-quality product you’ve come to love, just under our new name.
