This error occurs in an LTI 1.3 integration when a lesson link has not been set up to open in a new window. This is fixed by adjusting the settings for the lesson links.
1. Navigate to the list of lesson links in your LMS course
2. Adjust your lesson link settings based on your LMS
2.1. Select the three dots next to the lesson link
2.2. In the Edit Item Details box, select "Load in a new tab"
2.3. Select "Update"
2.4. Repeat these steps for each lesson
2.1. Select "Edit Link"
2.2. Under "Web Link Options", select "Yes"
2.3. Repeat these steps for each lesson
2.1. Select the dropdown arrow next to the lesson link
2.2. Select "Edit Properties in Place"
2.3. Check "Open as External Resource"
