How to add extra credit or a penalty to an entire lesson

Extra credit or penalties can be applied to the grade of a lesson as desired.

1. In the Gradebook dashboard page, hover over the indicator bar of a completed lesson

2. Select "Credit & Penalty"

3. Enter the credit or penalty value, reason, and an additional comment

3.1. Enter a point value (including a minus sign if you are assigning a penalty)

The "+" and "-" buttons can be used to increase or decrease the point value in increments of one-tenth.

3.2. Select a reason from the "Reason" list

3.3. Add any additional comments

This is optional.

4. Select "Save"

Add extra credit or a penalty in a lesson

When Grading by Student, you can add extra credit or a penalty in the same way as above by following the same steps in the bottom toolbar.

1. Select "Credit & Penalty" at the bottom of the page

2. Enter the point value, reason, and comments as the steps above
