Adding an App in Canvas for Science Interactive will allow you to link lessons, enable grade transfer, and use other features. How to Find the LTI Credentials for your Course may be helpful when performing these steps.
This will only need to be performed once for each course SKU.
The Client ID and Deployment ID are both unique to a given course SKU.
These steps are performed in the course itself, not the Admin panel.
1. In the course shell, select "Settings"

2. Select the "Apps" tab

3. Select "View App Configurations"

4. Select "+ App"

6. Paste the Client ID into the Client ID field
We created this in the previous article, How to create a new Developer Key in Canvas.
If you are an instructor, your institution's LMS admin should provide your Client ID to you. Here are instructions on finding your course's Client ID.
7. Select "Submit"

9. Find the relevant key and select the gear icon then "Deployment ID"

10. Copy the Deployment ID

Each unique course SKU will have a different deployment ID. Do not use the same deployment ID for multiple course setups.
Note that the Deployment ID displayed here is not your actual Deployment ID, but an example that looks similar.
11. Navigate to your course settings page in Cloud

12. Paste your Client ID and Deployment ID into the appropriate fields
You will find these fields at the bottom of the Settings page.

Your Client ID is the same as was used in Step 6 and your Deployment ID was generated in Step 10.
13. Select "Save"
