Science Interactive Instructor Help Guides

Part 2: How to create an App in Canvas (LTI 1.3)

Updated on

Adding an App in Canvas for Science Interactive will allow you to link lessons, enable grade transfer, and use other features. How to Find the LTI Credentials for your Course may be helpful when performing these steps.

This will only need to be performed once for each course SKU.

The Client ID and Deployment ID are both unique to a given course SKU.

These steps are performed in the course itself, not the Admin panel.

Each unique course SKU will have a different deployment ID. Do not use the same deployment ID for multiple course setups.

Note that the Deployment ID displayed here is not your actual Deployment ID, but an example that looks similar.
