Part 3: Add a placement for the SI Cloud tool in Blackboard Ultra (LTI 1.3)

Adding a placement for your SI Cloud tool connects individual courses to your SI Cloud tool connection. 

This only needs to completed once per course SKU, but must be completed by an LTI Admin.

1. Select the dropdown arrow next to the name of the SI Cloud tool

2. Select "Manage Placements"

3. Select "Create Placement"

4. Fill in the "Label" field

We recommend this be [Course Name] - SI Cloud.

5. Fill in the "Handle" field

This must be unique to this course, we recommend using your course's unique identifier.

6. Set "Availability" to Yes

7. Select "Deep Linking content tool" under Type

8. Select "Launch in a New Window"

9. Open SI Cloud in a new window and navigate to the course settings page

11. Switch to your Blackboard tab

13. Select "Submit"
