Part 4: How to add lesson links in Blackboard Classic (LTI 1.3)

Once your first tool is placed, you're ready to add links for each lesson in your SI Cloud course so that students can access them.

Follow the steps below to add lesson links to your Blackboard course.

1. Create a course shell according to your institution's policies and procedures

2. In the course shell, select "Content"

3. Select "Build Content"

4. Select the tool placement for this course

5. Select the lesson you want to connect

6. Select "Connect lesson"

7. Return to your Blackboard course content tab and refresh the page

8. Select the arrow dropdown next to the lesson name and select "Edit"

10. Select "Submit"

11. Select the lesson you just connected

12. Verify that the lesson appears

13. Repeat these steps for each lesson that you would like to add to your course

15. Locate the grade column you wish to edit, and select the drop-down chevron

16. Select "Edit Column Information"

17. Edit "Points Possible" and any other settings you wish

18. Select Submit
