One difference to note between the SI Cloud and the SI Lab Portal is that answers to open-ended questions, including long answer, image uploads, and tables, are not provided in-line with student answers in the gradebook. To facilitate grading these questions, answer guides are provided with the answers to these questions. This article will review how to access these answer guides.
1. From the Course Hompage, enter the Content Repository.
2. In the Content Repository, select "All Content Types."
Under Sources, make sure "Current Class" is selected. Then, select "All Content Types" under Current Class.
3. Select the answer guide folder for your discipline. Then select the page name.
The answer guides will always be stored in a folder named "[Discipline] Answer Guides"
If your course combines labs from multiple SI disciplines, you will have access to multiple answer guide folders.
4. Hover over the preview window until you see a magnifying glass, then select the answer guide page.
This will open up the answer guide page in a new window.
5. Select the answer guide you wish to open.
The answer guides are PDFs, and can be saved and downloaded if desired.
6. You now have access to your answer guide!
The answer guides will contain the answers to all manually graded questions.
