These are the steps that will be required to integrate SI Lab Portal into your LMS. These steps will need to be performed by your LMS administrator. They will work with an SI Implementation Specialist to complete these steps together, as there will need to be data exchanged between the two for proper implementation.
To integrate the SI Lab Portal with D2L/Brightspace, the SI Lab Portal LTI Advantage tool must be registered in Brightspace
1. Log in to D2L/Brightspace as an administrator.
2. Select the Settings icon in the top-right corner.

3. Under the Organization Related heading, select Manage Extensibility.

4. Select the LTI Advantage tab, then select Register Tool.

5. On the Register a Tool page, select the Standard radio button.

6. Complete the required fields on the Register a Tool page.
The following fields must be completed on the Register a Tool page.
- Name: Enter a unique name for the new key (Example — SI Lab Portal MyInstitution).
- Description: Enter a description (Example — SI Lab Portal LTI Advantage tool for MyInstitution).
- Domain: Enter the domain of your SI Lab Portal site (Example — https://myinstitution.mobius.cloud).
- Redirect URLs: Enter the Redirect URL value provided by your SI Implementation Specialist.

7. Complete the additional fields on the Register a Tool page.
Complete the following additional fields on the Register a Tool page:
- OpenID Connect Login URL: Enter the Initiate Login URL value attained from Your SI Implementation Specialist.
- Target Link URL: Enter the Content Selection URL value attained from Your SI Implementation Specialist.
- Keyset URL: Enter the Public JWK Set URL value attained from Your SI Implementation Specialist.

8. Check all boxes under the Extensions heading and the Roles heading, then select the Register button.

9. In the table, click the name of your new tool to view and modify tool settings.

10. Locate the registration details for the new LTI tool under Brightspace Registration Details.
The registration details of your new LTI tool will be displayed under Brightspace Registration Details. Copy this information, including the Client ID, for the next steps of the setup process.

11. Select the View Deployments link.
Upon selecting the link, a new tab will open with the table of deployments.

The LTI Advantage deployments can also be viewed from the Administrator Settings, by clicking External Learning Tools under the Organization Related heading.

12. Select the LTI Advantage tab, then selectNew Deployment.

13. On the Deploy Tool page, select the name of your new tool from the Tool drop-down.

14. Enable the security settings.
Enable the following checkboxes under the Security Settings heading:
- Org Unit Information
- User Information which will also check the boxes for Name, Email, User ID, Username, and Org Defined Id.
- Link Information which will also check the boxes for Title and Description.

15. Select all boxes under the Configuration Settings heading.

16. Select Create Deployment.

17. Under Brightspace Deployment Details, copy the Deployment ID value for the next steps of the setup process.
