Part 3: How to add Lesson Links to your Moodle course (LTI 1.3)

Once your first course is connected, you're ready to add links for each lesson in your SI Cloud course so that students can access them.

Follow the steps below to add lesson links to your Moodle course.

1. In your Moodle course, activate "Edit mode" in the top right

2. Select "+Add an activity or resource" under the desired topic

3. Select "External tool"

4. Enter the name of the lesson you're adding in the "Activity name" field

5. Select the Science Interactive course tool in the "Preconfigured tool" dropdown

6. Select "Select content"

7. Select the corresponding lesson from the list

8. Scroll down and select "Connect Lesson"

This will autofill the "Tool URL" field. Do not modify anything in this field.

9. Select "Grade" drop-down

10. In the expanded "Grade" section, update "Maximum grade" and any other desired grade settings

11. Select "Save and return to course"

If you are taken to a different page or see an error, review and repeat the process above. If the issue persists, contact your school's LMS Administrator.
